President Larry Eirich called the meeting to order at 6:30pm on Tuesday, February 7, 2005. Present: Larry Eirich, Richard Banks, Harry Niemi, Kathy Kozik, and Kim Maguire of Premier Property Management. Homeowners in attendance: Sandy Baird and Mr & Mrs Meyer.
Harry moved that the January minutes be approved as recorded. Richard seconded and the motion carried.
Kim Maguire presented the financial statements. Harry motioned to approval the financials and Kathy seconded and the motion carried. Harry motioned to approve check detail for check numbers 2509 - 2514. Kathy seconded and the motion carried. Discussion on cars that appear to be abandoned, there have been a few in question. We are still requesting that homeowners give us their email addresses so that we can contact them quicker. Discussion of the possibility of a Country Village website. We will look into and see what the possibilities are and what cost might be involved. The Comerica account has been closed. We are waiting for our statements and Kim will email once she receives. Demand letters have been sent out and there are also a couple of accounts with the attorney now and Kim will send another. Discussion on the “Homeowners bill of rights”, we went through what it would mean to our HOA.
Discussion on the $2000.00 grant. The grant amount was not as high as we had originally thought($5000.00) it was. Larry was going to attend the second meeting but it was decided that we would not try at this time and go to the great lengths necessary at this time to qualify for the grant.
Discussion on the upcoming siding inspection and the replacement needed at the Meyers home. We asked that the Meyers hold off until after the inspection before any replacement begins. Mr & Mrs Meyer also wanted to know why their trim board wasn’t replaced. It was an error that happened so they will need to be added to the list for next time. Discussion on the back fences was addressed and we are asking the ARC committee attend the next board meeting. Discussion on garage doors, fences, siding, trim board need to be addressed with the ARC. Painting will need to be addressed also. Kim will notify everyone when the siding inspection has been completed. We are still looking for someone to replace June on the board.
There was no correspondence to review beyond collection.
