Country Village Homeowners Association
Board Meeting
March 15, 2006
I. Call to Order
President Larry Eirich called the meeting to order at 6:00pm on Wednesday, March 15, 2006. Present: Larry Eirich, Kathy Kozik Stan Ferguson and Kim Maguire of Premier Property Management. Katherine Wells and Richard Banks were not in attendance.
II. New Urgent Business
This meeting was called because our contracts were due on landscape and pool maintenance. In regards to the landscape, our sprinkler system is very old so we need to take that into consideration when we decide which bid to go with. We received three bids for the landscaping, Urban Farmer, Indian Summer and Metco. Metco will only check the sprinkler system bi-weekly. Urban Farmer will respond to any sprinkler problems right away and they are familiar with the system. After much discussion about the options, Kathy motioned to stay with Urban Farmer and Stan seconded the motion and it carried. Kathy motioned that we accept the three year contract and Stan seconded the motion and it carried.
In regards to the pool proposals, we received four bids: Pool Pros, Apollo, Alligator Pools and The Supply Connection. After going over the four bids it was decided that Country Village would supply trash bags and toilet tissue for the restrooms. Kathy motioned to use Pool Pros for the 2006 season and Stan seconded the motion and it carried.
In regards to the trim board bid that was done, it was discussed that we will need to have it done and that we need to accept the twenty thousand dollar bid. We will just have to figure out how and were we will come up with the money. This will be discussed at the April meeting.
On April 2, 2006 our Horizon Bank CD matures, it is $55,000.00. It was decided that we would roll it over into the Dain Rauscher account so that it will be liquid in case it is needed. We will decide later what to do with it.
III. Adjournment The meeting was adjourned at 6:30pm.
