Nomination Announcement

The nominating committee, consisting of Jerry Thomas, Tony Fria and Bob McLane have submitted the name of Kathy Hoy-Gipe as a candidate for election as a director to fill one vacancy on the Board. The election will take place at the Annual Meeting, September 14, 2011, 6:30PM at Bemis Library.

Please refer to The By-Laws, Article IV, Section 6 which states:
The nominating committee shall recommend candidates for election as directors at the annual meeting. The names of the candidates shall be posted on the Ridgewood Village website and at the residence of the Secretary at least thirty days prior to the annual meeting. Not less than seven days prior to the annual meeting, any five or more members may nominate other candidates by submitting their names to the Secretary of the Association together with a written acceptance of nomination by such candidates. The names of these candidates also shall be posted at the residence of the Secretary for at least five consecutive days prior to the annual meeting. Nominations for director may not be made from the floor at the time of the annual meeting.
