I. The meeting was called to order at 9:05 a.m. by the president, Kathleen Casey, the meeting being held in the home of Les Sitter.  All Board Members were present, as well as homeowners Gloria Leeper and Jane and G.C. McKinney, and Kim Maguire of Premier Property Management

II. The minutes of the February 8, 2010 meeting of the Board were approved as amended. 

III.  Homeowners Forum.  Jane McKinney brought bills regarding sewer backup caused by tree roots.  A discussion of the problem followed.

Gloria Leeper raised an issue as to permanent proxies being allowed, and the Board

Members expressed agreement that they should be allowed in the Leepers’ situation.  Gloria also discussed that the back gate of the pool blows open often.  That problem will be forwarded to the RVRA board.  Gloria also expressed that their dues statement was being sent to the wrong address for Merrill Lynch.  Kim will correct that matter.  

IV.  Manager’s Report:

 Kim Maguire presented the preliminary March, 2010 Financial Statements, as the final reconciliation is not yet available, and they were approved by the Board as presented, subject to reconciliation.  

IV.     Old Business:

Jerry alerted the Board to the possible presence of objectionable characters.  Parking of the flat-bed truck continues, but less often.

V.       New Business:

Homeowner Beffa requests approval of repair of their picket fence at their own expense which request was approved.  Their request for installation of a juniper bush near the yard light was disapproved.

Sewer cleanup problems were discussed.  Kim will get information for future decisions.

Gutter cleaning:  It was agreed that cleaning is needed as quickly as possible.

A walk-around was scheduled for 9:00 May 3rd prior to the board meeting at Jerry’s.

VI.     The meeting adjourned at 10:45 am.
